Our Shark Encounter is a PADI-recognised discovery scuba session, where you’ll learn basic diving techniques from a highly qualified and experienced team – not to mention with our 10-feet Sand Tiger Sharks!
You will also dive with 10ft Nurse Sharks, Blacktip Sharks, two types of Bamboo Sharks, Arabian and Brownbanded, Southern Stingrays, Blackchin Guitar Fish & magnificent aquatic Fish.
Shark Encounters are packed to the gills with the following:

An “I Dived with the Sharks at Blue Planet Aquarium” certificate
Free entry for two spectators
We often run dives on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 2pm or 4pm, although this remains subject to change and availability.
Blue Planet Aquarium is based in Chester. Participants to arrange own travel.
