Say My Baby’s Name

In 2022 we commissioned Inner Eye Productions to produce Say My Baby’s Name; Pregnancy After Loss. The film a sequel to the ground breaking Deafening Silence, will form part of the Abigail’s Angels Training programme, for midwives and health professionals around the world, to better understand how to support bereaved parents and families. The film focuses on the experience of a mother having her next child, following the death of her previous baby. It features a stellar cast with credits ranging from Killing Eve to Harry Potter and Netflix’s Sandman. The new film aims to build on the success of the first and help midwives to reflect on their interactions with parents returning for their next child following a bereavement.

Written and directed by Chris Godwin, the first film had an immediate impact, leading to positive changes in maternity wards and this second film is destined to also have a huge impact in the care that is offered.
