Swim the Serpentine

Do you love to swim? Grab your goggles and challenge yourself with either 1 or 2 mile swim event, at the Open Water Festival, in the beautiful Serpentine in Hyde Park. All finishers will receive a medal after their swim, as well as a souvenir swim hat to wear on the day!

The mile is a classic distance in the world of open water swimming! It takes place on the same course as the London 2012 Olympic Marathon Swimming event, with one full lap around the Serpentine making up the one-mile swim, so you’ll be following in the swim strokes of some of the world’s top open water swimmers. This is a really popular option at Swim Serpentine, with swimmers taking anything from 20 minutes through to more than an hour to complete the swim.

You can choose from ½ mile, 1 mile, 2 mile or the Super Six (6 miles).
